“Norashen” Reserve

It is located at the northwestern part of the national park and covers an area of 839 hectares, of which the terrestrial area- 341 ha and the aquatic one- 498 ha. The total length of the boundary is 12.7 km. The reserve area stretches at about 3.9 km length and 3.0 km width. The objective of the reserve is to ensure natural livelihood and regeneration of birds (particularly Armenian seagulls as it is the only endemic sedentary (nesting) bird species here).

“ Lichq-Argichi” Reserve

It is located at the southwestern part of the national park near the river estuaries of Tsakqar, Lich and Argichi and covers an area of 1175 ha, of which the terrestrial part covers 482 ha, and the aquatic part-693ha.
