Mineral waters from Lichk and Sevan can treat various gastrointestinal diseases. There are also peat fields near the communities of Martuni, Zolakar and Tsovinar. Taking into account the locally available natural medicinal resources such as mineral water, curative mud and peat, there is an important potential to develop spa centres.
